Today an associate company managed to negotiate with Barclaycard on behalf of a client, a Full & Final Settlement.
The outstanding balance was £12,138 and this figure was negotiated down to £3,624 in a Full & Final Settlement. Therefore saving the client over £8,000!

When a company can no longer pay its debts, it may restructure or negotiate with its creditors. Negotiating with creditors would include asking for a different set of terms, i.e. changed interest rates and maturities. The company can also ask for condonation of debts.
